If you are new to the Nantucket rental market, the following information is typical for most rentals:

1. Homeowners furnish all bed and bath linens, cooking and dining utensils. Most homes have standard amenities, such as washer & dryer, dishwasher, TV, etc. But if you have specific requests let us know.

2. Many properties only rent for a minimum period of two weeks. Saturday is the usual turnover day, but a few properties have Friday or Sunday as the turnover day. Normal check in time is 3 P.M. and check out time is 9 A.M.

3. Most rental properties do not allow pets. If you need to bring your pet the MSPCA offers pet boarding and can be reached at 508 228-1491.

4. The "rental rate" quoted for each property is the usual price for the July & August period. These rental rates are offered for information purposes only, actual rents are subject to agreement by owner. Rents are typically a little lower in June &September.
